2023.7.13 Annual lab meeting
Our group had a joint annual progress report with Kojima group, and all the students presented their progress. Great job! We enjoyed the after party as well!
2023.6.13 We moved to the Science G building
We moved from the Science B building to the renovated Science G building. Now, our lab spaces are located at G406 and G415, the student's room at G409, and Ken's office at G411.
2023.5.30 Paper published in eLife!
Our first paper (in terms of Ken as the sole corresponding author) was published in eLife (Link). This paper describes how bacterial diet affect the age-dependent decline of an associative learning behavior in C. elegans.
2023.5.8-22 Ken visited Jarriault lab
As an exchange program between Naoya University and Strasbourg University in France, Ken stayed Dr. Sophie Jarriault's lab at IGBMC, Strasbourg University in France. He learned about transdifferentiation and cutting edge-techniques and, of course, enjoyed French food and culture!! He also gave talks at IGBMC and the main campus of Strasbourg University.
2023.5.22 Our team was on TV

2023.2.21-22 Souhatsu meeting
Ken helped organize the Souhatsu meeting at Kanazawa. He and Rikuou gave a pitch and poster presentation. They made new friends and got new ideas about the collaborations between biology and chemistry!
