Binta completed her PhD thesis defense! Congratulations, Binta! It was an awesome defense with a long discussion! 2025.1.12 Kansai-Chubu Worm Meeting
Rikuou and Masako presented at the Kansai-Chubu Worm Meeting and got the Best Presentation Award for Graduate and Undergraduate students, respectively, based on the audience's votes. Congratulations!! After the meeting, we celebrated the retirement of Nishiwaki sensei and appreciated his huge contribution to the community!
2024.12.13 Suhong gave a talk!
Dr. Suhong Xu visited Nagoya University and gave a fantastic talk entitled "Strategies for plasma membrane repair". Ken and Suhong did their postdoc training in the Jin/Chisholm lab together at UCSD. They are happy to drink together after a while!

Rikuou presented a poster at the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory Meeting on the Mechanism of Aging. He was brave enough to insist on two big shots, Drs. Cynthia Kenyon and Coleen Murphy, to look at his poster during a mixer.
2024.9.14-16 ABiSS at Kushiro
Ken, Rikuou, and Ryusei presented at the Anti-disciplinary Biomedical Scientific Symposium (ABiSS) in Kushiro, organized by Adachi san and Hayano san.
